Cyprus Deputy Minister Hadjimanolis is taking part in a series of high-level maritime engagements in Athens and Alexandria, focusing on international cooperation, shipping policy, and maritime competitiveness.

In Athens, Hadjimanolis will join a ministerial roundtable during the Capital Link Greek Shipping Forum, held as part of its 16th annual edition. The session will bring together senior officials including Greece’s Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Vasilis Kikilias, Malta’s Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works Chris Bonett, and Marco Sylvester from the US Department of State.

During the forum, the Deputy Minister is also expected to hold bilateral talks with her ministerial counterparts. Her Athens program includes attending and delivering remarks at the graduation ceremony for Merchant Marine Officers at the Mediterranean Maritime Academy.

In parallel with the conference agenda, Hadjimanolis will meet with representatives of international shipping companies to promote and enhance the standing and competitiveness of the Cyprus shipping register.

The visit will then move to Alexandria on Saturday, February 7, where she will travel at the invitation of Egyptian Ministry of Transport. There, she will participate as a keynote speaker at the International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference.

While in Egypt, Hadjimanolis is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Egypt’s Minister of Transport and with ministers from other participating countries, as part of broader discussions on maritime transport and logistics cooperation.
