Hebrew media reported today, Monday, that the Foreign Ministers (FMs) of Israel, the United States, India, and the United Arab Emirates will hold a virtual meeting on Monday.

Haaretz, an Israeli daily newspaper,   confirmed that during this meeting, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will discuss with his American counterparts Anthony Blinken, the Emirati Abdullah bin Zayed, and the Indian Subramaniam Jaishankar, the future of economic cooperation between their countries.

This comes less than a week after Lapid, Blinken and Bin Zayed held tripartite talks in Washington.

Lapid and Jaishankar had agreed, during the talks that took place between them today in Israel, to resume negotiations on the free trade zone agreement between the two countries in early November, and mutual recognition of vaccination certificates, in addition to expanding cooperation in the fields of water and agriculture, in an effort to sign the appropriate agreements by the middle of the year. Next.

Following the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign Israel's accession to the International Solar Energy Alliance, which was established in 2015 at the initiative of India and France, in the presence of the Israeli Minister of Energy, Karen Al-Harr.

It is worth noting, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued a decree  IN September 2020, abolishing a previous law that mandated an economic boycott of Israel following the historic agreement to normalize relations between the two countries.

Clandestine relations between Israel, the UAE, and other Gulf Arab states have existed for decades.

The relationship between Israel and the Gulf States has already become closer in recent years.

Gradually, unofficial ties have been established through cultural, political, and economic exchanges – perhaps most visibly in an Israeli invitation to the 2020 Dubai Expo which has been postponed until this year.

The peace agreement, or the Abraham Accord, between Israel and the United Arab Emirates was agreed on 13 August 2020.

Israel and the UAE will establish full diplomatic relations. In return, Israel will suspend this very claim to Palestinian-inhabited territories on the West Bank.

The formal signing of this agreement was hosted in the White House on 15 September 2020, according to Rodl and Partner news website.
