American singer Gwen Stefani will get married to fiancé and fellow singer Blake Shelton in a chapel, which he has been built on the grounds of their Oklahoma ranch.
A source revealed to Us Weekly magazine that Shelton built a chapel on the grounds of his Oklahoma ranch, noting that he did it himself with help.
"It's really a tribute to their love. They are going to get married in the chapel, most likely early next year," the source added.
On October 27, the couple announced on Instagram their engagement, along with a picture of Stefani wearing a new ring.
“@blakeshelton yes please!” the singer captioned the photo.
Shelton shared the same post and captioned: “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!”.
The couple met on the set of “The Voice” singing show in 2015, and soon, their friendship turned into a relationship.
The singers have presented several collaborations including, “Nobody But You”, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”, “If I’m Honest”, and “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”.
They also performed songs about one another such as Shelton’s 2017 “Turnin’ Me On”, which is about Stefani, and Stefani’s 2016 song, “Make Me Love You” is about Shelton.
The duo was previously married. Shelton tied the knot in 2011 to singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert, who he porced in 2015.
The “Don’t Speak” singer shares three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo with her ex-husband singer Gavin Rossdale, whom she married in 2002 and split from in 2015.
Last month, sources revealed that said Shelton had made sure to get her entire family's approval before the 'surprise' proposal, which left the "Don't Speak" singer speechless.
A source added: "Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission. Her family very much approves of him. He is an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise,"
