United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres warned on Monday that “no one is safe” in Gaza, noting that Gaza “has become a graveyard for children” where hundreds of boys and girls are killed or injured every day.

"The nightmare in Gaza is more than a humanitarian crisis. It is a crisis of humanity," Guterres said in a press conference, reiterating his urgent call foforn immediate ceasefire.

He added that Israeli ground operations and bombing target civilians, hospitals, refugee camps, mosques, churches, and United Nations facilities, including shelters.

Moreover, UN Secretary-General said that the protection of civilians "must be of the utmost importance."
