António Guterres, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, met with a number of young people participating in the COP27 climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.
During the meeting, Guterres stressed that the world owes them a great debt, noting that they are relentlessly calling for action to curb climate change.
"Young people, like the ones I met at #COP27 today, have been relentless in demanding #ClimateAction," he tweeted.
"The world owes them an enormous debt," UN Secretary-General added.
"I am grateful for their persistence & courage - and I am proud to stand with them," he continued.
