Guinean Foreign Minister (FM) Morissanda Kouyaté praised historic relations between the two countries since Guinea's independence in 1958, noting the special status that Egypt enjoys among the various segments of the Guinean people.
This came during Kouyaté's meeting with Ambassador of Egypt to Guinea, Mohamed El Halwany.
Moreover, he expressed his aspiration to work with the Egyptian Ambassador to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, El Halwany reviewed the overall relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in the coming period.
