Maj. Gen. Khalid Fouda, governor of South Sinai, affirmed the importance of making visual identity for the governorate which was carried out by the staff of German University in Cairo( GUC).
The governor pointed out that personnel of Traffic Department, tourism, hotels, and specialized chambers met many times to explain the importance of the visual identity of the governorate.
He signed the protocol of cooperation with GUC.

The governor stated that he records credit and admiration at GUC as a national university interacts with the elements of society.
He added that he found GUC cooperates limitlessly to serve the governorate It gains the confidence of the political leadership so this is a milestone that should be recorded in the history of t he university.
This confidence bases on the trust in the Board of Trusses chaired by Dr. Ashraf Mansour, chairman of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Yasser Hijazi, President of GUC.
Maj. Gen. Fouda added that the project of the visual identity of South Sinai Governorate was completed in 15 stations on Al Salam St in Sharm El Sheikh.
Buses of those stations were provided with hi-tech and Wi-Fi outlets with the plans of developing the governorate.
The governor pointed out that King Salman University opens next June.
St. Catharine Air Port has been developed to work in 24 hours.
He revealed that experts have adopted a plan to upgrade the city of St. Catharine which costs one billion Egyptian pounds.
He went on to say that many persons participated in those developments that took place in the city of Sharm El Sheikh.
He assured that there is a project to construct a marina for yachts in the bay that situates behind the Hall of Conferences in the city.
The governor of South Sinai made clear that there is an increase in the number of British tourists who are coming to the province.
The Emirati tourists also come in rising numbers so far.
He wishes that direct flights take off the airports of the United Arab Emirates ( UAE) to land in Sharm El Sheikh.

He assured that tourists of all nationalities across the world come the city and the numbers are still growing now.
He praised the city as full secured one.
He asks Dr. Khalid El Enani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to put the posters of the visual identity on planes and produce films promote to tourism in Egypt.
Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of GUC, said that one of the university's strategic goals is to participate in the development of some cities and places in Egypt.
He vowed to benefit from the scientific expertise and human potentials present in the university.
He explained that the university has started to design a visual identity project of Alexandria Governorate.
He continued, saying that GUC was honored by the presidential commission on designing the visual identity for all governorates across the country.
He stated that the university aims to provide graduates at the highest level working in the global and Egyptian markets, as well as supporting the private consulting offices in Egypt.
Dr. Ashraf Mansour emphasized the role of science and entrepreneurship for the Egyptian graduate among his counterparts in the world level in all disciplines.
He pointed out that the university supports the state's strategic vision by supporting the needs of newly appointed governors.

Dr. Mansour" explained that the design of the visual identity of Sharm El Sheikh is inspired by the colors and the picturesque nature and reflects the elements of the place and the characteristics of the city, in addition to addressing the youths who prefer water tourism.
The protocol of the joint cooperation between the South Sinai Governorate and GUC aims to support and develop the province aesthetically promote there, in addition to providing the governorate with the technical and administrative support.

The scientific expertise is available in Faculties of Management, Design, Architecture and Computer Engineering.
GUC is considered as an experienced house that provides technical assistance in many areas.
This was confirmed by the presidential commission mandating it to circulate the project of the visual identity for Luxor to all governorates of Egypt, after which the Egypt Identity Center was established on the campus of (GUC) in August 2018.
