Pep Guardiola has once again refused to give a definitive answer about his future at Manchester City, joking with reporters as speculation continues over whether he could leave the club this summer.

Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley, the Spanish manager appeared relaxed and playful when asked if the match could mark his final appearance at the stadium as City boss.

Guardiola, who has spent a decade at the club and won 19 trophies during one of the most successful eras in Manchester City’s history, responded humorously to questions about his legacy and future plans.

“Yes, of course, 19 titles in 10 years is not bad,” Guardiola said while jokingly flexing his muscles. “They know I’ve been fun. I’ve been f****** fun!”

The City manager also reminded reporters that he still has one year remaining on his current contract, though he stopped short of confirming he will remain beyond this season.

When directly asked if Saturday’s final would be his last trip to Wembley with Manchester City, Guardiola laughed and replied: “No way! I have one more year contract,” before quickly leaving the press conference room.

Guardiola also reacted sarcastically to reports suggesting members of his coaching staff, including Lorenzo Buenaventura and Xabi Mancisidor, could depart at the end of the season.

“I extended the contracts of all of them for three more years,” he joked, before later admitting he was not serious and adding that he would respect any decision made by his assistants regarding their futures.

Despite the uncertainty, Guardiola remains focused on leading Manchester City to another trophy as the club prepares for a crucial FA Cup final showdown against Chelsea.
