Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his happiness at attending the COP27 climate summit, stressing that climate change is a major problem in the Eastern Mediterranean that affects the environment, food, water systems, migration and energy.

During the Climate Action Coordination Initiative for the ME, E. Mediterranean” Summit, in the presence of President El-Sisi, the Greek Prime Minister revealed that energy projects were discussed with President El-Sisi, saying: "I spoke with President El-Sisi about energy projects to ensure their better transportation, not only to the region, But to export them to the European market.

The Greek Prime Minister pointed out to the importance of cooperation in the field of civil protection in some countries that suffer from natural disasters such as fires and floods.
