On Saturday, the Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said that Turkey's attitude for showing good intention is not enough, however, it should stop all forms of provocations.
Dendias added to media agencies that the European Union (EU) has no scheduled date for sanctions against Turkey.
In the same context, Dendias asserted that Turkey should respect its neighbors, adding that the door is open for Turkey to enhance its relations with its European neighbors.
A few days ago, Turkey hosted a new round of talks between both states over the long dispute over the Aegean, and the Cyprus crisis.
Amid the round, Turkish president Erdogan described this step as a "harbinger for a new era."
He underscored, “We believe that the exploratory talks with Greece … will be the harbinger of a new era.”
On the other hand, The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that he hoped the talks would pick up from where they left off in March 2016, when the last round broke down, according to Ekathimerini news agency.
He added that Athens looks forward to a fertile relationship with Ankara.
The earliest rounds of talks between both countries took place between 2002-2016 before the talks were disturbed by the rising tensions between Turkey and Greece.
