Greece Expresses Wish to Resume Maritime Border Demarcation Talks with Libya

On Monday, Greece's Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias stressed the importance of resuming talks on demarcating the maritime borders with Libya.

During a meeting with Libyan Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Hussein Al-Qatrani, the minister called for the removal of all foreign forces from Libya.

He underscored the importance of preserving the country's unity and stability and the ceasefire.

On his part, the Libyan Deputy Prime Minister Al-Qatrani stressed the importance of joint strategic cooperation with Greece, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries and coordinating many files from illegal immigration to gas exploration in the Mediterranean.
