The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Monday.
Moderate weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, while South Upper Egypt will experience moderately warm weather.
Meteorologist also predicts that the country will experience also a rise in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Snow is also foreseen to form on Mount Moses and Saint Catherine's heights. Frost is expected in some regions of central Sinai.
There are chances of light rain hitting intermittently in the North Coast and North of Lower Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northeastern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.75 and 2.25 meters in height with northeastern surface winds.
Moreover, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 18°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 22°C in Qena, and 24°C in Aswan.
