Grand Imam of Al-Azhar congratulates the Muslim and Arab nations on ‎Eid Al-Adha

HE Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, extends ‎sincere congratulations to the Muslim and Arab nations, the kings, the ‎presidents, the princes and the peoples, on the occasion of the blessed Eid ‎Al-Adha, praying for many happy returns of the day with the Muslim ‎nation and all humanity enjoying wellbeing, security, peace, prosperity ‎and blessings. The Grand Imam also stresses that the blessed Eid Al-Adha ‎is a great opportunity to draw closer to Allah Almighty and thank Him for ‎His blessings, calling on the Muslims masses in the east and west to ‎celebrate this blessed occasion through venerating the rituals of Allah, ‎drawing closer to Him through obedience, worship acts and good deeds, ‎extending a helping hand to the poor and needy, and cherishing the ‎noble values of kindness, compassion, maintaining kinship ties, and ‎consolidating the values of fraternity, coexistence, and solidarity among ‎all.‎

He also calls for taking advantage of such holidays to bring happiness and ‎joy to the hearts of the needy, to visit the sick and the relatives, to ‎exchange congratulations with friends, and to instill these values in the ‎minds and hearts of children and youth.‎
