On Sunday, a significant disruption to the Global Positioning System (GPS) was reported across large areas of Israel.

The outage has raised concerns about a potential imminent attack from Iran, according to reports from the Times of Israel and the news website Walla.

The GPS disruption has not only affected border areas near Lebanon but has also impacted densely populated regions in central Israel.

The GPS is crucial for both navigation and the operation of drones, which rely on GPS to reach their targets.

Currently, Israel is on high alert following recent threats from Iran, which has vowed retaliation for the recent assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau.

Israel has yet to officially comment on the accusations that it was behind the attack.

Reports indicate that some drivers in Israel have experienced their GPS systems directing them to locations as far away as Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
