The Ministry of Civil Aviation denied the government's intention to sell EgyptAir, stressing that the flag carrier is a national company that will remain state-owned and cannot be forfeited in any way as it is one of the state's main arms in the air transport system.
The ministry indicated the implementation of a plan to develop the company aimed at modernizing its fleet, expanding its network of routes and increasing the number of its flights.
The Ministry stated that the company continues its path of advancement and preserving workers, based on its national and societal role.
