On Sunday, the 79th Golden Globes honored Hollywood’s best movies and TV shows from 2021.

On a typical year, the event serve as the gold standard for tipsy fun but this is not a typical year for the award show as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) works to repair its reputation following a backlash raised against the HFPA for its lack of persity and inclusion.
