Gold Prices Stabilize, 21-Karat Hits EGP 1225

Gold prices stabilized, on Saturday, locally as the gold ounces slightly declined in world markets due to more expectations about US Federal Reserve's intention for increasing the interest rates.

Saied Embabi, the CEO of Isagha platform, said that 21-karat hit EGP 1225, while the gold ounces fell to $1645.

In the same context, 24-karat was sold at EGP 1400, 18-karat was estimated at EGP 817, 14-karat recorded EGP 740, and the gold pound was sold at EGP 9800.

Embabi added that gold prices rose by EGP 5 yesterday, as 21-karat opened a transaction at EGP 1220, and ended the process at EGP 1250.

On the other hand, the ounce opened the trading process at $ 1651 and ended the process at $1639.
