Gold prices increased in the local markets during today’s trading, with a slight increase in an ounce price on the global stock exchange to record $1900.
Saeed Imbaby, executive director of the “i Sagha” platform for online trading of gold and jewelry said that gold prices rose by EGP 40 in the local markets during today’s trading, as a gram of 21 carat gold recorded EGP 2300, and an ounce price increased by $8, to reach $1903.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded EGP 2629, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded EGP 1972, a gram of 14 karat gold is sold at EGP 1534, and a pound of gold recorded EGP 18400.
