Media professionals from over 40 countries are set to gather in Moscow for the 17th Assembly of the Russian World, scheduled from 20 to 22 October 2025, TV BRICS reported.
The event is organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation with support from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For the first time, the Assembly will feature a dedicated session called “New Media Dimension: Strengthening Dialogue – Confidence-Building,” designed for both Russian and international experts in mass communications.
This session is being held in collaboration with the TV BRICS International Media Network, the Assembly’s international information partner.
Tatyana Shlychkova, Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, emphasized: “This marks the first time the Assembly will host a thematic session involving top executives from major media companies across BRICS+ countries.
It reflects growing interest among media representatives in creating new connections and shaping a modern communication framework. Participants from more than 40 countries will join the discussion, and we are confident the international dialogue will be productive and translate into practical outcomes.”
