A global internet outage on Friday caused disruptions across several countries, halting operations at airports, airlines, media outlets, and affecting the trading of oil and gas in London and Singapore.

Berlin Airport suspended flights until 08:00 GMT, with the airport operator announcing on the "X" platform that "the airport is experiencing delays in passenger check-in due to a technical fault."

Turkish Airlines reported facing issues with booking systems, passenger check-in, and ticket issuance due to a global technical malfunction. The airline's help desk posted on "X" that efforts are underway to resolve the problem.

The global technical outage impacted operations in various countries, affecting Spanish airports, Turkish Airlines, media outlets, and Australian banks.

David Rhodes, CEO of Sky News UK, stated that the channel stopped live broadcasting on Friday morning. Rhodes explained on "X" that "Sky News was unable to broadcast live television this morning, and we are currently informing viewers that we apologize for the disruption."
