The total number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus around the world surpassed 656,825,062 million, according to the US Johns Hopkins University website.
In a statement, the university added that the total number of deaths due to the pandemic rose to 6,677,530.
It is worth mentioning that, Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs, Awad Taj El-Din said that the Egyptian experience is 'unique' and 'pioneering' in managing the Coronavirus crisis, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
In press remarks, he stressed that the state and its health system managed to deal with the virus and its repercussions with 'tact' and 'professionalism' to serve the Egyptian person and defend the homeland against a cursed pandemic.
“We have overcome the Coronavirus crisis, which is a global pandemic that has infected humanity, paralyzed its movement and terrified the inhabitants of the earth, and led to humanitarian, medical, economic, and social crises that the world is still suffering from their repercussions so far," Taj El-Din stressed.
