Cloudflare, a major provider of internet infrastructure and website security services, has confirmed that it is still working to resolve an ongoing global network outage that has caused performance issues across parts of the internet.
According to the official Cloudflare System Status page, the company began investigating the problem at around 9:19 a.m. Cairo time.
Cloudflare explained that the outage is causing intermittent network performance disruptions, which some users may notice while browsing websites and platforms that rely on its services. Among the affected platforms are X and Reddit.
Cloudflare is one of the world’s largest providers of website acceleration and security solutions, with millions of websites and applications depending on its network to manage traffic and protect against cyberattacks.
The company clarified that the issue is not related to customer websites or their internal configurations.
Instead, it stems from a malfunction within Cloudflare’s own network infrastructure, meaning the impact may vary from one region to another.
Cloudflare stated that its technical teams are continuing to work on the issue as efforts remain underway to fully restore normal service worldwide.
