Thousands of eager visitors have been awaiting the reopening of Giza Zoo, especially with the arrival of festive seasons like Eid al-Fitr. As one of Egypt’s most beloved landmarks, the zoo has undergone a comprehensive modernization project aimed at restoring its historical significance and transforming it into a premier tourist destination.

According to Gardens Company, the firm responsible for the renovations, Giza Zoo is set to officially reopen to the public in September 2025. The redevelopment includes improved facilities, enhanced animal enclosures, and new attractions to provide visitors with a world-class experience.

As part of the initiative, the company has also announced that on select national holidays, entry to the zoo may be free of charge for visitors. Further details on ticket pricing and special events will be revealed closer to the reopening date.

The renovation project is part of a broader effort to enhance Egypt’s green spaces and revive its cultural and recreational landmarks. Officials hope that the transformed Giza Zoo will once again become a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists.
