International supermodel Gigi Hadid gave fans a rare glimpse into her personal life by confirming the exact date she found out she was pregnant with her daughter.
Since giving birth to her first child, with Zayn Malik in September 2020, the 25-year-old supermodel been super low-key when it comes to how much she shares about her newborn.
Recently, Hadid revealed in a series of tweets that she found out that she was pregnant the day before she walked in the Tom Ford show, during New York Fashion Week, on February 8.
The supermodel stated that was dealing with major morning sickness at the time, adding: “I was so nauseous backstage but I learned I could kinda control it if I continuously ate, so my mom would pack me snacks before each show.”
When it came to satisfying her waves of cravings, Hadid ate a range of treats including everything bagels/ extra cream cheese, triple chunk brownies for breakfast, sourdough toast and tomato olive oil salad, lots of salt and pepper, as well as Malik’s ribs w fries, and arugula salads.
Hadid also disclosed that it was difficult to satisfy her carb cravings during the shows abroad, but she got by with a little help from Taylor Swift.
“During fashion month in Europe it was hard to find bagels so I ate mostly bread & Dutch cheese (except for in London, Taylor gave me bagels) Backstage at Burberry was the hardest day with nausea, I remember.” she tweeted. “
She also reminisced about her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing photos and a video from the Jacquemus Fall 2020 catwalk. “A year ago, today @jacquemus! My baby girl was in there,” she captioned her post.
