<h4>The 4th edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) has added eleven <a href="https:\/\/see.news\/16-intl-movies-confirmed-for-2020-gouna-film-festival\/" target="_blank">additional<\/a> movies for its official selection.<\/h4>\r\nGFF is scheduled to take place from October 23-31, at <a href="https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Gouna" target="_blank">El Gouna<\/a> Resort-town, in the Red Sea governorate, under its permanent slogan \u201cCinema for Humanity\u201d.\r\n\r\n\u201cAs we scout the world for creative cinematic works, we grow more and more inspired by what filmmakers everywhere have to offer. What drives us in our quest for the best films is the appetite of our audiences and participants for good cinema. (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Romania, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, France, Norway, Turkey)\r\n\r\nThe Truffle Hunters (Italy, United States, Greece)\r\n\r\n<strong>The Official Selection out of Competition section will feature the following:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n"Listen" (United Kingdom, Portugal)\r\n\r\n"My Tender Matador" (Chile, Argentina, Mexico)\r\n\r\n"The Big Hit" (France)\r\n\r\nThe Ties (Italy)\r\n\r\n"Mainstream" (United States)\r\n\r\n"True Mothers" (Japan)\r\n\r\n"Beginning" (Georgia, France)\r\n\r\n[caption id="attachment_81345" align="aligncenter" width="800"]<img class="wp-image-81345 size-full" src="https:\/\/see.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/76fb7c747e3083c614c341df6524886a.jpg" alt="Celebrties at El Gouna Film Festival" \/> Celebrties at El Gouna Film Festival (GFF)[\/caption]\r\n\r\nGFF was established on September 22, 2017, to underscore the role cinema plays in promoting cultural interaction and to highlight the awareness of different cinematic voices through encouraging dialogue and by building bridges of creative intellect.\r\n\r\nThe festival aims to generate opportunities for the development and support of all contemporary forms of creative expressions in the MENA region, especially between young generations from the Arab world and their international counterparts.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, GFF presents a selection of the newest films from around the globe as well as host established and emerging filmmakers.\r\n\r\nThe festival program includes three competitive sections, the \u201cFeature Narrative Competition\u201d, the \u201cFeature Documentary Competition\u201d, and the \u201cShort Films Competition\u201d.\r\n\r\nIt also features an \u201cOfficial selection out of competition\u201d section, and a section devoted to \u201cspecial programs\u201d.\r\n\r\nIn addition, it pays special attention to films with humanitarian content. The festival also organizes the \u201cCineGouna platform\u201d, which is a creative and business hub designed to support Egyptian and Arab talents, during which a wide range of meetings are organized between Arab and international directors, producers, and distributors to enhance business opportunities for the Arab cinema.\r\n\r\nIn parallel to the screening and the CineGouna platform, it will also present round-tables, workshops, panels, and masterclasses.
