President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his wife Mrs. Entisar El-Sisi inaugurated this morning the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh, under the slogan “Back Together.” The forum is hosting youth from 196 countries from Africa, Europe, Asia, North America and South America. The forum activities will continue until January 13th.
During the opening session, a number of participants delivered speeches: ( Sarah Badr, a member from Egypt, Isaac Boma, from Ghana, and Rehab Ayyash, from Tunisia. In addition, historical and artistic TV spots, the song “I dream of a place”, and a video about the future of post-Covid world will be shown.
President El-Sisi delivered the opening speech, announcing the launch of the activities of the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum.
The WYF is an annual global event held in Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai, under the auspices of the President Sisi. It was launched in three editions in the past years 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The forum aims to bring together the world’s youth in order to promote dialogue and discuss development issues, and to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world. The United Nations Commission for Social Development has adopted the three previous editions of the World Youth Forum in Egypt as an international platform for discussing youth issues.
