International Astronomy Center in UAE announced the dates of the Eid El Fitr in the MENA, including Arab countries, Al Ain reported on Thursday.

Mohamed Shawkat Ouda, the director of the Astronomy Center, said that all Arab countries and MENA regions will celebrate the beginning of the feast on the same day except for three countries: India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, according to the centre's astronomical studies.

Ouda reflected that all countries that witnessed the first day of Ramadan marking April 2 will have their day of observation on April 30.

In addition, those countries will not witness the rise of the crescent moon on that day, therefore, Ramadan will be declared a 30-day month, and the first day of Shawal will mark May 2.

He added that the three days that witnessed the beginning of Ramadan on April 3 will have the day of observation of the crescent moon on May 1, and they wouldn't be able to see the rise of the crescent moon.

Therefore, May 2 will be the final day of Ramadan, and the beginning of Shawal will mark May 3.
