A source close to the family of iconic Egyptian comedian Samir Ghanem revealed Sunday a health update about the star and his wife, veteran actress Dalal Abdel Aziz.
In a statement, the source stated Ghanem's health is improving but he is still in the intensive care room, however, he is expected to be transferred to a room after he recovers.

The source added Abdel Aziz is still in a stable condition and her health did not deteriorate as rumored, adding she is still receiving the treatment guideline and undergoing oxygen sessions to regulate her breathing as she suffers from shortness of breath.
On April 30, Ghanem was transferred to a hospital due to impaired kidney function.
Meantime, Abdel Aziz was admitted to a private hospital near the Suez Bridge due to her serious condition after contracting the deadly virus.
