Get to Know History of Egypt's Clashes against Tunisia

All eyes will be shed on 974 Stadium on Wednesday, where the Egyptian national team will clash against Tunisia in the FIFA Arab Cup semi-finals.

The Eagles of Carthage qualified for the last four after defeating Oman 2-1, while the Pharaohs reached the semi-finals after defeating Jordan 3-1.

Here is the History of Egypt-Tunisia clashes: 

Both teams clashed 35 times before; the Tunisian team won 14 clashes, while the Egyptian team won 13 times. The draws was in 8 matches.

Result 1-0 was the common between the both teams as 13 matches ended in this result. The Tunisian team was able to net 38 goals, while Egypt scored 36 goals.

Both clashed one time before in the Arab Cup in 1988 in Jordan, where the Pharaohs clinched a 1-0 win.

The last match between both teams was on November 16, 2018 as Egypt snatched a 3-2 win in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The big results between both Arab teams was in 1989 as the Pharaohs crushed the Eagles of Carthage.

In 1977 the Tunisian team demolished Egypt 4-1 in the 1978 World Cup qualifiers.
