The featured matches of the card carried various forms and types of matches. It started with a two-match pre-show segment. The first was a single match between NJPW's Kosei Fujita against NOAH's Yasutaka Yano. The match was ended without winner, a time limit draw result was announced.
Regarding the second, it was a six man tag team match where NJPW's Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata succeed in defeating NOAH's Funky Express-trio by pinfall.
