Germany sent weapons and equipment worth more than 190 million euros ($201 million) to Ukraine in the first 8 weeks after the Russian invasion.

Germany delivered war weapons worth 12.5 million euros and other weapons worth 71.4 million euros between February 24 and April 19, according to the German Economy Ministry in response to a parliamentary question.

This is in comparison to more than $3.7 billion in arms and ammunition that the US has promised or has already delivered to Ukraine.

Estonia has so far provided more than 220 million euros in military aid to Ukraine.

Two days after the Russian invasion, the German government decided to supply the war zone with weapons, including anti-aircraft missiles, bazookas, ammunition, and automatic cannons.

Last week, Berlin approved the export of 50 Gepard anti-aircraft tanks, the first time that heavy weapons had been delivered directly from Germany.
