German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas reported on Monday, that not everything would change under U.S. President-elect Joe Biden but much would get better.
On other hand, he did not think that the spending target would be in focus as much under Biden as under Trump, Mass reported. Also, the argument over defence spending would not end under Biden but would be conducted in a different style.
Noteworthy, Elected President of the US Joe Biden has delivered an outstanding speech to the nation after his victory. His speech came after the newly elected Vice-President Kamala Harris‘ victory speech which touched every woman and girl around the world and went viral.
Firstly, Biden described his winning and the victory of the democratic party as a real national victory especially after the voter turnout reached the highest percentage in 120 years.
He said: “They’ve delivered us a clear victory, a convincing victory, a victory for we, the people. We’ve won with the most votes ever cast on a presidential ticket in the history of the nation 74 million.”
Then, he stressed the point of rebuilding the nation, and re-unifying it once again, and leaving behind all forms of separation and discrimination. ”
“I pledge to be a president who seeks not to pide but unify. Who doesn’t see red states and blue states, only sees the United States,” he said.
