Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan discussed Wednesday with German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
The Armenian Deputy Prime Minister's Office said in a statement reported by the official Armenpress news agency that Grigoryan stressed the importance of strengthening relations with Germany as a reliable partner for Armenia's development, pointing out to its role in the context of the growing partnership with the European Union.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on opportunities to strengthen relations between countries in the region and beyond, particularly with the European Union.
They also touched on the joint declaration signed by Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington.
