Today, Germany suggested keeping the imposed measures to combat the emerging Coronavirus for an additional five months.
Germany, the largest economic power in Europe, imposed a partial lockdown in early November that included bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities, but excluded schools and shops.
"We will have to live with a lot of precautions and restrictions for at least five months," Economy Minister Peter Altmaier told a German newspaper.
The minister's comments came before the government meeting to be held on Monday to decide on extending the new restrictions imposed mainly until the end of November, according to "FP".
The number of people infected with Covid-19 who receive treatment in intensive care units increased from 360 to more than 3,300 currently.
On Saturday, Germany witnessed several protests against the restrictions imposed to contain the Coronavirus, including Frankfurt, where police used water hoses to separate the demonstrator.
