Germany's Scholz Arrives in India to Boost Economic Ties

On Saturday, Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in India for a two-day visit, and the Ukraine war is expected to dominate the discussions.

Scholz met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the capital, New Delhi, where he was awarded military decorations.

"India and Germany have very good relations and would like to deepen them. This will be the topic of our talks and most importantly peace in the world," he told reporters.
