German Foreign Minister (FM) Analina Baerbock was forced on Tuesday, to cancel her week-long tour to the Indo-Pacific region, due to technical problems with the government plane.
"We've tried everything, but unfortunately it's logistically impossible to continue my voyage to the Indo-Pacific region," Birbock tweeted.
Geran Foreign Ministry spokesman stated, on the “X” platform, that the plane tried, on Monday, to take off for the flight from Abu Dhabi twice, but was forced to return again for safety reasons due to a technical malfunction in the parts that control the position of the wings.
It is worth mentioning that, Baerbuck was scheduled to travel to Australia, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands.
Last year, Baerbuck had to cancel a trip to meet her British counterpart, James Cleverly, due to bad weather.
