German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will receive Swiss president Alain Berset, at the Federal Chancellery next Tuesday, according to deputy government spokesperson Christiane Hoffmann.
She added that both leaders are expected to discuss political and economic issues between the two countries, as well as relations between the European Union and Switzerland, as well as the current security situation in Europe due to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
On the other hand, Hoffmann said that German Chancellor will go to Lisbon on Wednesday, April 19, to meet with Portuguese Prime Minister (PM) Antonio Costa.
Moreover, she added that Scholz and Costa will exchange views on bilateral and European issues and current economic policies.
