He emphasized that he carefully studied all decisions on how to prevent an escalation of tension, so that the conflict does not turn into a war between Russia and NATO.
It will be terrible, Scholz continued, and we are doing everything we can to prevent escalation.
He added when everyone was initially convinced of the need to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine, he was against it, because this would lead to an early escalation of the conflict, as NATO planes would fight Russian planes, and we were not satisfied about it.
