Hollywood stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt are teaming up in a new thriller project.
The untitled movie is being bid upon by an array of studios including Sony, Lionsgate, Annapurna, MGM, Universal, and Warner Bros on the theatrical side and streamers Apple and Netflix.
The resulting deal could see the stars receive paydays of $20 million or higher.
Filmmaker Jon Watts is set to write, direct and produce the movie. Clooney is also producing through his Smokehouse Pictures production company and Pitt through his Plan B Entertainment company.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is understood that it will be centered on two fixers who are assigned to the same job.
Clooney and Pitt previously collaborated together in the Ocean’s 11 movies and in the Coen Bros. movie "Burn After Reading".
