Parl’t Speaker Stresses Egyptian-Nigerian Parliamentary Importance Relations

Parliament Speaker Hanafi Gebaly met Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of Nigeria's House of Representatives, on Wednesday, during the Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments in Vienna.

Gebaly affirmed that Egyptian-Nigerian relations are extremely strong, stressing the importance of  strengthening these relations in order to  achieve  the interests of the two peoples.

In the same vein, the parliament speaker also called for boosting Egyptian-Nigerian parliamentary relations within the framework of international and regional parliamentary forums.

On his part, Gbajabiamila hailed the close relations between the two countries, calling for coordination of consultations between the two parliaments on various issues of common concern.

At the end of the meeting, the two men exchanged souvenirs.
