The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) affirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements regarding a “Greater Israel” represent a direct threat to regional and international security, according to Cairo News Channel.
The GCC stressed its rejection of any attempts to undermine the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states.
It also called on the international community to protect the region from any actions that could inflame tensions and undermine prospects for achieving a just peace.
