GCC Summit: Kuwait, Oman Hail Saudi Arabia's Key Role in Region

Upon his arrival at Saudi's Al-Ula city to attend GCC Summit, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber praised Saudi Arabia's key role in the Middle East region, hailing bilateral ties between both countries.

"Fraternal relations deeply-rooted in history," Sheikh Nasser said.

On his part, Omani Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said expressed appreciations for Saudi Arabia government and people.

"Changes and developments make it imperative for the Gulf states to coordinate positions," he noted.

On Tuesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) received the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders, and heads of delegation at Al-Ula international airport.

The 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit kicked off shortly in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Among the participants are, Bahrain’s crown prince, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Qatari Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
