Several hospitals across Gaza have sustained severe damage and a growing number have gone out of service amid the ongoing conflict, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

A ministry spokesperson stated that the European Hospital in Rafah and areas on the outskirts of Khan Younis were among the facilities severely affected, adding that multiple hospitals in southern Gaza are no longer operational.

In northern Gaza, the Indonesian Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital also suffered extensive damage, with most of their equipment destroyed and medical teams unable to fully restore services, according to the ministry.

The spokesperson said many hospitals have been forced out of service due to Israeli control over surrounding areas, while insecurity and restricted access have prevented civilians from reaching medical facilities located near so-called “yellow zones.”

The health situation in the enclave is deteriorating rapidly, the ministry warned, describing conditions as “extremely difficult and dangerous,” with the crisis deepening day by day.
