The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today (Friday) the death of a civilian who succumbed to his injury in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the number of victims of the Israeli military operation in Gaza to 31 dead and more than 90 injured, according to the Arab World News Agency.
In the early hours of today morning, the Palestinian factions fired mortar shells at the Nahal Oz military site, east of Gaza, after a state of cautious calm prevailed in the Strip at midnight last night.
The Israeli army bombed several sites in the Gaza Strip last night until the early hours of the morning, without recording any injuries.
Last Tuesday, the Israeli army began raids on the Gaza Strip, in response to the firing of rockets by Palestinian factions towards Israel, in protest of the death of Palestinian detainee Khader Adnan in Israeli prisons, after he had been on hunger strike for about three months.
