The Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 144th "Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza" convoy today, carrying tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people.
As part of its campaign to provide Iftar meals for one million fasting Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent delivered more than 180,000 food baskets, 570 tons of flour, over 870 tons of medicines, relief supplies, and personal care items, more than 1,575 tons of petroleum products, and winter supplies including winter clothing, blankets, mattresses, and tents.
In a related development, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues its humanitarian efforts at the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side, receiving and seeing off the 17th group of wounded, sick, and injured Palestinians arriving and departing, and assisting them in completing the crossing procedures.
