Israeli forces targeted a truck that was transporting displaced Palestinians from the north of Gaza City towards the south through the safe corridor announced by Israel.
An RT correspondent reported that targeting the convoy resulted in the killing of about 70 people, most of them women and children, and the injury of 200 others.
Social media sites were filled with video clips documenting the Israeli army's targeting of the convoy, killing and wounding dozens.
Several clips showed the bodies of the dead dumped on Salah al-Din Street in Gaza, where the convoy was targeted.
This comes after the Israeli army notified Gaza residents yesterday, Friday, to leave for the south of the Strip.
Today, the Israeli army published a new notice in which it called on the residents of the city to leave and head towards the southern Gaza Valley within 24 hours, announcing the opening of safe corridors under the pretext of preserving their safety, and publishing a picture of the corridors.
Hamas and other Palestinian factions in Gaza launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” at dawn last Saturday, in response to the continuing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers on the Palestinian people, their property, and their sanctities. They carried out a major attack on land, sea, and air, and fought a street war with the Israeli army.
On the other hand, Israeli forces launched Operation Iron Swords and launched intensive raids on many areas in the Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions as a result of the Israeli siege.
The continuous raids resulted in massive destruction in populated areas, significant loss of life.
