Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has discussed with Uruguayan Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Fernando Mattos means of fostering bilateral trade, economic relations, and agricultural cooperation.
During their meeting, the two officials reviewed the latest developments regarding their proposed joint projects in order to enhance economic and trade exchanges as well as expand cooperation in all fields among the two countries.
They also held substantial talks on the implementation of strategy for the production of green hydrogen in light of the growing international interest in this promising source of energy and as part of the country's ambitious national plans to transition to renewable sources of energy.
Gamea also asserted her country’s keenness to boost trade and investment relations with the Latin American country.
Meanwhile, Mattos expressed his country's readiness to offer agricultural products that can meet the market needs in Egypt.
