Galatasaray Shortlist Elneny Ahead of Summer Overhaul – Report

Egypt international Mohamed Elneny has emerged as one of six potential signings for Turkish giants Galatasaray in the next summer window.

The 22-time Turkish champions are having one of their worst-ever seasons in their history, currently sitting 12th on the league table with just four games left to go.

And as Metin Öztürk and Eşref Hamamcıoğlu going head-to-head for the club’s presidency next Saturday, April 30, the club’s shortlist of new signings has been published by Turkish news outlet ASpor.

Leading the list is Egypt international and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, who will see his contract at the Emirates run out by the end of the current season.

Having played just six minutes of football with Arsenal in 2022, Elneny managed to redeem himself with back-to-back masterclass performances against Chelsea and Manchester United.
