Gabon’s transitional authorities have announced the indefinite lifting of the curfew that had been in place.
General Félicien Kouyi, Director of the Cabinet at the Gabonese Ministry of Defense, stated that the decision was made to allow families to celebrate the year-end holidays without restrictions.
This announcement, reported by Le Gabon, reflects the government’s determination, particularly by the President of the Transitional Period, Brice Oligui Nguema, to ease restrictions during this festive season.
The authorities emphasized that this step would enable citizens to fully enjoy the holiday period while promoting social cohesion during a time of celebration.
