Actor Matthew Perry stated on Thursday that the highly-anticipated return of the hit show “Friends” reunion special is rescheduled once again, after plans to get the cast back together were wrecked due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!” Perry, who plays Chandler Bing, tweeted.

"Friends" special is set to be filmed on the show's original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros lot in Burbank, California.

It also stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc as twentysomethings living in New York City.

The show, which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 and ended in 2004, still remains one of the most popular TV shows in reruns.

"Friends" reunion special was initially set to help launch WarnerMedia's new streaming service, HBO Max, in May 2020 but the plan to film it has been repeatedly delayed by the pandemic.

Earlier this year, HBO Max said it hoped to film the reunion in the studio with a live audience.
